We are still hanging onto summer a bit, but with Fall just around the corner, we are going to be some busy bees!  Our calendars are filled with many different events, including our first Regional Educational Program taking place in November.  Read below for more information!

It’s back to school time!  We know that many of you have questions about school accommodations for your students, and much more related to Covid.  Please visit our website to have your questions answered. If you have additional questions, you can always give us a call!

And to our friends that celebrate, Shanah Tovah!

Sincerely,
Melissa

Learn about our Featured Research

Do you know about our Featured Research listings? The Foundation collaborates with academic and industry researchers to help enroll patients with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis into clinical studies. Take a look at some of the featured studies here. Note: these partners have paid to have their trials posted on Featured research, and the Foundation does not endorse any particular study.

For a comprehensive listing of all research studies currently recruiting, please visit our IBD Clinical Trial Finder.

Campus Connection

College students living with IBD can connect to our online community by adding themselves to the map and starting discussions with other students who are also affected by IBD. You can check out our map, and other college resources here (https://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/campus-connection)

Team Challenge

Bring us closer to the ultimate finish line – cures for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Team Challenge combines fitness and a supportive community to raise critical funds for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.

Join Team Challenge and choose from any of the following options:

Train at home and then come together with other teammates from across the country at a destination event (run/walk, hike, cycle, and triathlon)

Pick a local race or make your own fitness challenge through our Race In Orange program

Join one of our nationwide virtual events

No matter how you participate, you’ll be a part of the Team Challenge family – teammates, coaches, and staff who share your passion for finding cures for IBD.

If you are a Black/African-American person ages 18-65 diagnosed with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis by a healthcare professional, we would like to have a private conversation with you.

We want to learn about your experience living with Crohn’s or colitis in order to develop better educational materials, design better community programs, and provide better support for people of African heritage living with these conditions.

Participants who are selected and complete the focus group will receive a $150 gift card for their time.

If you are interested and available for one hour to have a confidential, virtual conversation about your disease experience, please call 855-932-8CCF to schedule a conversation, or click here to get started.
