Uniting to care & cure

A month of gratitude and thanks, that’s why we love November!

There’s no secret that the success of the Chapter lies in the hand of our volunteer teams. As a staff team, there is no way we could accomplish this work without the support and dedication of those who volunteer their precious time to assist us. Whether it’s time in the office, serving on a committee, fundraising, or spreading awareness, we are grateful for you.

Another round of appreciation for our fall event teams that have put together outstanding events! Just recently our Harvest & Hops team produced a record-breaking event, raising over $100,000. This is coming off a record-breaking Evening of Hope, raising over $300,000. Both of these events had great participation and have made major impact on the work of our mission. Later this month, we will host spin 4 crohn’s & colitis cures, and in December, we head back to Ford Field for A Touch of Football. LOTS of ways to get involved!

And don’t miss out on our annual IBD Update, scheduled for November 20. You can attend in-person or virtually. Check out information below to register.

Hope to see all of you soon!

Happy Thanksgiving!

2021 has been a year of transition for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and for the rest of the world as we face the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the many challenges of the past year, our driving force continues to be our steadfast commitment to IBD patients and their families. This holiday season, the Michigan Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation wishes to express our deepest gratitude to you for your past support.

The generosity of donors like you is especially important as we continue to meet and adapt our approach to changing circumstances brought about by the pandemic. If you have not yet made a financial contribution this year, we hope that you will consider renewing or increasing your gift this year. It’s only with your help that we can drive programs that address the unique concerns and needs of IBD patients and their caregivers, support patients at every disease stage and walk of life, and bring the IBD community together.

Thank you to our committee and to the community for an incredible Harvest & Hops event! Together we were able to raise over $99,000 at this year’s event and the evening was filled with fun, community, amazing prizes and so much more. These funds go directly back into our community and mission. We hope to see you all again next year, mark your calendars now, Friday, October 21st, 2022, at The Goei Center!

Grab your ruby red shoes, click your heels together three times, and save the date for our 45th Annual Evening of Hope gala on October 1, 2022. The 2022 theme will be “There’s No Place Like Hope” and we hope you will join us for a fun-filled evening to help raise money and awareness for IBD.

For more information on becoming a sponsor, reserving tables/tickets in advance, or questions, please call Laura Marschner at 248-737-0900 ext. 4 or
