Alison Starling

Alison co-anchors the 5 and 11pm newscasts for ABC7/WJLA-TV. Prior to that, she anchored Good Morning Washington and ABC 7 News at Noon from 2004-2011. During her time at ABC7 News, Alison has covered major local and national news stories including Hurricane Isabel in 2003, the Virginia Tech shootings in 2007 and the Papal Mass in Washington live from the Nationals Ballpark in April 2008.. Leon Harris 

Award-winning journalist Leon Harris co-anchors the 5 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts for ABC7/WJLA-TV. He came to Washington after 20 years at CNN’s Atlanta Headquarters, where he co-anchored CNN Live Today and Prime News, and hosted CNN Presents and American Stories. Harris has covered a wide variety of stories including the September 11th terror strikes, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Asian Tsunami of 2004, the explosion and crash of TWA Flight 800 and the Los Angeles riots. Arch Campbell

Arch Campbell has reported on movies, theatre and entertainment in Washington, D.C., and nationwide since the 1970s. He joined ABC7/WJLA-TV and NewsChannel 8 in January of 2007. He appears weekly on 97.1 WASH-FM. In 2007 he received the Mayor’s Arts Award from Washington, D.C., Mayor Adrian Fenty for a generation of coverage of the arts. Read Arch's full bio.

Steve Chenevey

An award-winner anchor and reporter, Steve has been honored with two Edward R. Murrow Awards and five Emmy Awards, including being named Best Anchor for the last two years. Steve co-anchors FOX5 Morning News from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Read Steve's full bio.

Anita Brikman

Ms. Brikman currently co-anchors 9 News Now at 5 &11pm, and spearheads WUSA 9's health coverage. She is actively involved with health and wellness-related organizations including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, National Kidney Foundation, the American Heart Association and Susan G. Komen for the Cure. She and her family moved to the Washington, DC area in 2008 and are thrilled to call the nation's capital home. Read Anita's full bio.

John Schriffen

John Schriffen is a general assignment reporter for News4. He joined the station in January 2010, and his stories can primarily be seen during weekday evening newscasts. John was born and raised in New York City, and it didn't take long for him to realize that Journalism was his calling. At just 12 years old, he worked at a student-run newspaper called “Children’s Express.” There, he interviewed politicians and celebrities including President Bill Clinton, Attorney General Janet Reno and Oprah Winfrey.
