This session will provide an overview of the latest in IBD research and how this affects patients and patient care.
Living Well and Thriving with IBD: Caring for Your Mental Health Speaker: Nicole Williams, LPC Nicole Williams Counseling
This presentation will provide an in-depth examination of the grief and loss cycle related to chronic conditions as well as an overview of mental health issues that are common with IBD. Participants will learn about interventions adn emotional self-regulating skills and strategies to help support and increase resilience. A live demonstration of an example intervention will be held during the presentation.
Is this My IBD or Something Else? Dr. Junaid Siddiqui- Texas Digestive Disease Consultants Dr. Thiru Lakshman- Central Texas Colon and Rectal Surgeons
This presentation will provide attendees with an overview of other manifestations that IBD can take and what may be something else. Dr. Siddiqui and Dr. Lakshman will take questions from the attendees and will cover commonly asked questions from their patients and clinical experience.
