Take Steps Education & Advocacy Tent 2021
We are bringing Take Steps to you!
Join Take Steps walkers from across the Northwest for monthly events. Each month we will bring a beloved area of the Take Steps walk right to you - including a guided activity, a featured patient or caregiver stroy, and a chance to meet other walkers from the Northwest. Our monthly events are a chance to connect with the local IBD community as we lead up to the National Take Steps livestream on Saturday, June 12.
This month we are excited to share Foundation resources for Education & Advocacy! The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation offers many ways to connect with other patients and supporters, learn more about these diseases and treatment options, and find meaningful ways to advocate for a better future for IBD patients. We want to share these awesome resources with you, so please join us on Sunday, April 25 at 5pm PT! You'll hear from Alaska Honored Hero Kian Flynn, Camp Oasis counselors who support kids and teens at our IBD summer camp, as well as Foundation staff members who run other great programs in the Northwest.
This monthly Take Steps series is open to anyone and everyone! Use THIS LINK to join us, and feel free to share the link with your Take Steps team and other supporters!
New to Take Steps?
Take Steps is an annual charity walk benefitting the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. When we are able to gather in person, the Take Steps walks in Alaska, Portland, and Western Washington are the largest gatherings of our IBD communities in those areas! We will not be walking in person in 2021 but we will still come together as a community to build meaningful connections, support each other, and raise critical funds to support the Foundation's mission. Please reach out to the walk manager nearest you to learn more about this awesome event!
