About the Award
The Jerry Chandler Legacy Award was established to honor Jerry’s business leadership and commitment to serve her community. This annual award promotes and recognizes women business leaders making an impact in their industry and paying it forward to new generations. Award recipients demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to helping others through their example, leadership, and charitable contributions in the hope of carrying on Jerry Chandler’s legacy of empowerment.
About the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and Paint the Rock
The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-driven organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis. The Mid-America Chapter’s Paint the Rock event brings together IBD supporters, local business leaders, area physicians, caregivers and patients in an evening filled with fabulous food, a silent and live auction showcasing local artists and cultural experiences. The Legacy Award recipient will be asked to share their story of community impact with the guests the night of the event.
