Travel to Maryland’s Eastern Shore to take in the sites of Cambridge, one of the state’s oldest cities. A small scenic town, rich in history and full of sights straight out of James Michener’s novel, Chesapeake, Cambridge is the perfect setting for you to join Team Challenge for IRONMAN® Maryland on October 2, 2015.

IRONMAN® Maryland competitors will swim in the Choptank River, the largest one on the Delmarva Peninsula, bike through Dorchester County and into the critical waterfowl sanctuary in Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge, and run along the flat country roads. When the race is over, explore the city, which was a center of the Civil Rights Movement, and its historic sites, tidal wetlands, and bird habitat.
