Team Challenge is excited to be heading back to Hawaii! This time, we’re going to Maui, and what better way to see the state’s beautiful beaches than by running or walking to help find cures for inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD)?

This race offers the opportunity to take in some beautiful sights, including the Haleakala Volcano, green West Maui Mountains, and picturesque beaches. Make sure to watch out for whales January is prime viewing season! If you’re lucky, you might also get to see a rainbow. Then, as the race comes to an end, you’ll be greeted by cheering fans, as well as traditional Hawaiian entertainment and snacks.

During your time in Hawaii, be sure to enjoy the incredible ocean activities, such as swimming with sea turtles, walking on a black sand beach, taking a surfing lesson, or snorkeling. However, Maui has more to offer than incredible beaches. While there, make sure to tour a pineapple farm, learn to hula, bicycle down a volcano, learn to husk a coconut, or indulge in a Hawaiian delicacy, flavored shave ice.

From the whole #TCFamily, we want to say “mahalo!” (thank you) for your commitment to finding cures for the millions people living with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis!
