Day of the Tread
Join the Team Challenge family for our cycle event on October 24, 2021! We’re heading Albuquerque, New Mexico for the Day of The Tread, a “Day of the Dead” inspired ride that features beautiful scenery, including the Rio Grande River and the Sandia Mountains. This event has been reported as one of the best rides for beginners as well as more advanced riders.
The New Mexico landscape is some of the most beautiful in the country and it’s a sight you don’t want to miss! With distance options of 9,12, 26, 50, 64, and 100 miles, cyclists of all experience levels can find a course to challenge themselves! The courses feature scenic river and mountain views, and there are plenty of aid stations and volunteers to support riders. Once you finish, don’t miss the fantastic finish line festivals! Costumes are encouraged for this fun and amazing ride!
When you’re not racing, Albuquerque offers plenty to do, from learning about the area’s Spanish heritage, to visiting Native American cultural sites, relaxing at one of many spas, or exploring the nearby Sandia and Manzano Mountains on foot. This is truly a great place for a destination event!
