Amid all the uncertainty in the world right now, here is a way we can do something together. COVID-19 has been at the forefront of the news - but now more than ever - it is critical to raise funds to help find cures for Crohn's Disease and ulcerative colitis. Those battling IBD still need help, by YOU donating and with ME running together WE can make a difference!
What is 26.2 FOR YOU?
In 2018, I ran twenty-six marathons - that's right, twenty-six of them - and they were all about you! In 2019 I ran another twelve and this past year, 2020, I ran another twelve bringing the total to 50 marathons over the past three years. In 2021 I'm running even more - we are going to RUN TO 100! I will be running 50 more marathons and sharing more stories over the next couple years. That's 100 total marathons and 100 IBD stories. My focus is on creating awareness by sharing the powerful stories of those battling Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, which are both types of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), and raising money to help find a cure. Each race is dedicated to a friend, family member, or Team Challenge participant suffering from these diseases.
For my part, I will run - it's what I do - and I'll use this unique journey as my way of fighting alongside those strong, amazing and inspiring people who graciously allowed me to share their stories with you.

Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis affect more individuals than you may think – millions of Americans suffer from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Take Steps brings the community together in a fun, family-friendly and supportive atmosphere so patients know they are not alone.
Please help me reach my personal goal so that together we can support the crucial work of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Your donation to my fundraising efforts will help the Foundation invest in cures for the future, while providing support to patients today.
Leaders in Research: The Foundation has been a leader in inflammatory bowel diseaseresearch since their founding more than 50 years ago. They are accelerating the pace of research by breaking down traditional barriers to patients, data, funding, and collaborations, as well as catalyzing critical cutting-edge research studies and clinical trials at major medical institutions, and financing underdeveloped areas of research.
Empowering Patients and Caregivers: The Foundation serves more than 1.2 million patients annually, empowering patients and caregivers through education, support, and advocacy programs.
