Please help me reach my fundraising goal!
This year I will once again be participating in Take Steps for Crohn's. Take Steps is CCFA's national awareness walk and the nation's largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases. This year's WALK will raise awareness and money for crucial research that could bring us closer to a future free from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Over 1.4 million American adults and children are affected by these digestive deseases. While many suffer in silence, Take Steps brings together this community in a fun and energetic atmostphere encouraging them to make noise and be heard!
This cause is very near and dear to my heart! My son, Alexander, was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2009, so I have first-hand knowledge as to what a person living with IBD faces each day. Raising awareness and funding research for IBD could improve my son's quality of life, as well as countless others.
Your donation will help me reach my fundraising goal and will be used to support local patient programs and fund important research projects. In addition to donating, I would also like to invite you to join our team! Please copy and paste the following into your browser to join or click on the "join our team" box.
I am the team captain for THE A TEAM. Our team was named after my son, Alexander, and my very dear friend, Angela Douglass. Angela also lives with Crohn's disease.
The more money we raise together the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases. Please join me and donate to my efforts to support CCFA in finding a cure!
God Bless You!
