Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis affect more individuals than you may think – millions of Americans suffer from inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). I am truly inspired by the patients and families I care for affected by this condition and want to take part in helping raise funding and and awareness for an eventual cure! Take Steps brings the community together in a fun, family-friendly and supportive atmosphere so patients know they are not alone.
Please help me reach my personal goal of $500 for Take Steps Charlotte event so that together we can support the crucial work of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Your donation to my fundraising efforts will help the Foundation invest in cures for the future, while providing support to patients today.
Leaders in Research: The Foundation has been a leader in inflammatory bowel diseaseresearch since their founding more than 50 years ago. They are accelerating the pace of research by breaking down traditional barriers to patients, data, funding, and collaborations, as well as catalyzing critical cutting-edge research studies and clinical trials at major medical institutions, and financing underdeveloped areas of research.
Empowering Patients and Caregivers: The Foundation serves more than 1.2 million patients annually, empowering patients and caregivers through education, support, and advocacy programs.
