    THANK YOU LONG ISLAND!

Wow, Walk Day was amazing! We are constantly inspired by you and your dedication to our shared mission of finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. The weather didn't stop us from walking for cures! We are so thankful for all of the awesome volunteers, sponsors, team captains and participants who joined us as we walked and danced in the rain.

DO YOU KNOW YOU CAN STILL FUNDRAISE AFTER THE WALK?

Although we having reached our $400,000 goal, we won’t stop fundraising until we have brought in every dollar possible this year and we hope you will continue to help us. Just think, if all 1,500 registered participates each raised or donated an additional $48 we would succeed.

  • Local Hero

Our local honored heroes understands first-hand how difficult these diseases can be. They want to support patients like themselves because no one should face the challenges and uncertainty of IBD alone. Honored heroes use their story to raise awareness of these diseases, raise funds in support of the Foundation’s mission, and inspire hope to those living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Thousands of volunteers have helped the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) work toward our mission to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide a high level of support, education, research, and resources to our IBD community.
