  • Community Partners

Our community partners have committed their time and money to support our mission to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We want to extend a special thank you to those businesses and organizations who sponsor our event through monetary and in-kind donations, who provide volunteer support before, during, and after the event, and who offer matching campaigns to double or even triple the impact.

    Ways Companies Can Support

    • Become a Sponsor! be recognized as one of our valued corporate sponsors and enjoy the great benefits that come with a corporate sponsorship.

    • Assisting in communication of the event details to customers and employees, displaying posters in high traffic areas and lounge areas. You can also hand out flyers or brochure at checkout/point of purchase.

    • Have a Company Walk Team. This will increase company morale and foster employee community involvement while raising much needed donations for Crohn’s & Colitis Research.

    • Run an Icon/Point of Purchase Program (like programs you have seen in supermarkets, retail stores and doctor’s offices) Employees ask customers for a donation and display a paper pin-up. THE FOUNDATION provides the Pin up postcards and all the necessary materials for this program so there is no cost to you.

    • Change drive – Collect change in a jar on your store counter top or employee cafeteria. THE FOUNDATION will supply the labels for the containers

    • Casual for a Cause day.  Have employees make a donation in order to dress down for the day.

    • Employee Raffle. Offer a gift certificate, tickets to an event or even a preferred parking space for a month or a day off.

    • In-kind donations. Donations of gift certificates, food, services (example - bounce houses, or other walk day activities), greatly help to defray the overhead costs and put more of every dollar raised towards our mission.

    • Spread the Word! Share your involvement with your newsletter/magazine subscribers and social networks! Invite them to join your team!

The ideas are limited only by the power of you, your employees’ or your clients’ imaginations! Be creative and share your ideas with us by email at JMeurice@crohnscolitisfoundation.org  so we can showcase your company in Takes Steps for Crohn’s & Colitis Updates.

  • Honored Heroes
  • Honored Heroes

Our Honored Heroes understand first-hand how difficult these diseases can be. They want to support patients like themselves because no one should face the challenges and uncertainty of IBD alone. Honored heroes use their story to raise awareness of these diseases, raise funds in support of the Foundation’s mission, and inspire hope to those living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

  • Volunteer
  • Volunteer

Thousands of volunteers have helped the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation work toward our mission to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide a high level of support, education, research, and resources to our IBD community.

“Volunteering for the Take Steps Walk has been a great experience for me. I have met some wonderful people and have truly enjoyed giving back to our IBD community. Whether you can volunteer for event day or are looking for a committee experience, I hope you will join with us.”  - Carlos Martinez
