  • Corporate Support
  • Corporate Partners

Our corporate partners have committed their time and money to support our mission to cure Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. We want to extend a special thank you to those businesses and organizations who sponsor our event through monetary and in-kind donations, who provide volunteer support before, during, and after the event, and who offer matching campaigns to double or even triple the impact.

See our partners and learn how to get involved.

  • Honorees
  • Honorees

Our Honorees understand first-hand how difficult these diseases can be. Honored Heroes and Corporate Campaign Chairs want to support patients because no one should face the challenges and uncertainty of IBD alone. Honorees use their story to raise awareness of these diseases, raise funds in support of the Foundation’s mission, and inspire hope to those living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

    Pediatric Honored Hero, Casey Laracy

Hi! My name is Casey Laracy. My Take Steps team name is Team Casey. I was diagnosed with moderate to severe Crohn’s disease in May 2019. And I am the Jersey Shore Take Steps 2021 Honored Hero. When I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease it was hard because I did not understand what it was. Then I started to understand and learn more about the infusions and Crohn’s. I used to get infusions every eight weeks but then the infusions stopped working. In January 2021, I had to start a different path with a new medicine.

A couple weeks after I was diagnosed, I participated in my first Take Steps walk. Take Steps is an amazing opportunity to bring our IBD community together, but just as importantly, it’s about raising crucial funds for research, education, service, and advocacy. The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation has provided me and my family with a lot of support. I even participated in Camp Oasis this year. I was able to spend time with other kids my age going through the same situation. My mom also enjoys the Foundation's educational seminars for families to understand dietary restrictions, medication options, and how to cope during COVID.

That's why I think fundraising is so important. I hope for the day when the foundation finds a cure, but that can only happen if we continue to help them fund research.

  • Volunteer
  • Volunteer

Thousands of volunteers have helped the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA) work toward our mission to find cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. Without our volunteers, we would not be able to provide a high level of support, education, research, and resources to our IBD community.
