About Me

Hello! My name is Max Bratter! I am the leader of Kids RemiCAN! I got this name from my Crohn’s treatment that I was taking for years (Remicade) before I switched to Humira. I am 12 years old in 6th Grade, and I have been battling Crohn’s since 2017. I have been lucky enough to participate in Take Steps for several years. In 2020 I was even the Honored Hero! Many of my videos are still on Facebook (Meta for those being specific ) and Instagram! Before Take Steps, I was also involved in raising awareness. I even made a video with my friends in 2nd Grade! You can find it here https://youtu.be/A4l19oco_yw! (Copy and Paste the link into a new tab after you finish reading this, of course!)

It is not required that you donate, but if you are able, it would help many kids like me and help find a cure for Crohn’s and UC! Thank. You so much! Below is some vital information about Crohn’s, UC, and the Foundation!
Millions of Americans live with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, and currently, there is no cure. Our team is walking and raising money to support the crucial work of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Take Steps is the Foundation’s most extensive nationwide fundraising campaign, helping accelerate the progress of breakthrough research and supporting critical patient programs. Take Steps also brings the community together in a fun, family-friendly, and supportive atmosphere and lets patients know they have a community that supports them.
Please help us reach our team goal of $6,000.00 for Take Steps Fort Lauderdale by donating or registering and fundraising. Your support will help the Foundation invest in cures for the future while providing support to patients today.
Leaders in Research: The Foundation has invested more than $400 million in research toward cures since its inception. They remain laser-focused on reducing time to disease diagnosis and improving disease management. The Foundation continues to lead the way in critically important areas of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) research and accelerate novel therapies and innovative products that address unmet patient needs.
Empowering Patients and Caregivers: The Foundation serves millions of patients annually and allows patients and caregivers through education, support, and advocacy programs. Examples include COVID-19 resources, expanded pediatric support, influencing legislation, and focusing on diversity and inclusion.
Do you know someone affected by Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis? Then, join our team and share our fundraising page to spread awareness in the community!
