Welcome to My Personal Page

It has been over 10 years since our son Harrison was first diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Fortunately, he has been feeling well and has been responding positively to the new intravenous infusion that he gets every eight weeks in the hospital. Thankfully he no longer has to take the multiple medications that he used to take every day.
Each year since Harrison was diagnosed, our family has participated in the Take Steps for Crohn’s and Colitis walk, the nation’s largest event dedicated to finding cures for digestive diseases. We plan to continue this tradition to help raise awareness. In 2016, I joined Team Challenge and ran the New Orleans Half Marathon to support the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. In 2017, I ran the Saratoga Springs Half Marathon and 2018 I ran the Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon also with Team Challenge. I would like to thank everyone who supported me in my efforts to raise funds for this worthy cause.
Unfortunately, I was unable to participate in fund raising in 2019 due to scheduling conflicts and 2020 the events were all cancelled due to the pandemic. But now I am back.
This year I am once again joining Team Challenge in honor of Harrison as I run in the New York City Marathon on November 7, 2021. My personal goal is to raise more than $5000. I need your help to reach this goal and would appreciate any donation, big or small! And Remember, it’s easier to donate than to run 26.2 miles!!
More than 1.6 million patients across the country, including Harrison, suffer from Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Currently there is NO cure. With your help we hope to change this.
The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation funds important research, provides support to patients, and raises awareness of these diseases that affect millions of people. If you have questions about Team Challenge or the work of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you in advance for your support!
Sincerely,
Stephanie
