Interesting fact about Crohn's disease & UC #1
There's a lot in common with the two diseases, the most common being the shared chronic inflammation observed in the digestive system. But there are several key differences: location of inflammation (UC affects large intestine; Crohn's affects anywhere along GI tract, from mouth to anus); uniformity of inflammation (uniform inflammation associated with UC, while Crohn's inflammation can be spotty/less uniform along GI tract); and layers affected (more symptoms can be observed along GI tract in people diagnosed with Crohn's, ranging from mouth sores to anal tears, than with UC).

First training session
Exactly 6 months until the race and logged my first training session of the year. Excited and exhausted at the same time!
