Together, We Can Make a Difference
I have recently decided to take on a new challenge that will require much dedication, determination and perseverance. I am excited to announce that I have committed to completing my first IRONMAN 70.3 and also to fundraising $3,000 to find a cure for Crohn’s disease & ulcerative colitis! I will complete the IRONMAN 70.3 Eagleman on June 9th in Cambridge, Maryland with Team Challenge, a fundraising program for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America (CCFA).
I will be completing the 70.3 mile race to raise funds and awareness for research leading to a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Over the next 6 months of training I will swimming, biking, and running along with raising funds to find a cure for this disease that has claimed over 1.6 million Americans. I will be racing in honor of two of my best friends, Talia and Marisa, who are affected by ulcerative colitis.
