Hi, friends! I've wanted to run a half marathon for years. I began running again about a year ago, then started feeling sick with various interesting symptoms. In November 2021, I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease. In addition to affecting my gut, it has caused eye, skin, and joint problems.

 

This definitely affected my running, but I'm working on pushing through and controlling my symptoms as much as possible. Funny story - I came across the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation's website while googling how to run with Crohn's symptoms!

 

Anyway, I'm participating in the Willie McCool Half Marathon in Lubbock, TX on September 17, 2022. I would love any support, including encouraging words. Thank you!
