It's that time of year again! On Saturday, September 25th, I'll be clipping in to my Peloton bike to support the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation! This cause is especially important to me, as I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in August 2017.
To keep things fun, I'll ride 1 mile for every $100 raised - with a minimum 15 butt-crushing miles. The more you give, the more I'll ride!
Please consider making a donation - no amount is too small and it would mean a lot to me!
What are Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis?
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine. There are no cures for these often painful and debilitating diseases.
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation has played a role in every major breakthrough in IBD research, investing over $384 million into finding the causes, treatments, and cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. To learn more, visit: https://www.crohnscolitisfoundation.org/
