My name is Ashley Jonas and I have Crohn's Disease. I was diagnosed in 2017 and my world changed forever. I no longer could be the social butterfly, the workaholic, the mother and wife I dreamed of being. My expectations of how I lived changed. In 2019 I was on the brink of failing my medications and did not have much of an expoetancy to live. I decided to stop being angry at why I had this disease and decided to FIGHT! I decided to change my mindset, lifetsytyle, and build a community oif people like me. I decided to educated my family, friends, and strangers about IBD. I decided my children needed a mom that was a warrior, that they could look up to and know they can DO ANYTHING! I decided we needed something in TRI CITIES!

This year I am participating in spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures, an exciting and inspirational fundraising event! This being hosted by Gold's GYm in Richland Saturday, September 17th, from 10am - 12 pm.  This event  supports the mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, which is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.

I will participate in honor of the millions of Americans affected by these debilitating digestive diseases. While many suffer in silence, spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures will bring the community together across the country in a fun, inspiring way.

Your donation will help support patient programs, as well as important research projects, and supplies for patients in need. This cause is very important to me  and many of my friends in the community also afftecteda! I appreciate your help as we fight for cures!

The more money we raise, the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases every day.

I spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures!

About Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) and affect millions of Americans. Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine. There are no cures for these often painful and debilitating diseases.
The Mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
