Hello friends and family!
As you may know, I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease in 2002. I am lucky that it is very well managed and I can live a normal life without restrictions. Others aren't so lucky, and there is no cure. So, on behalf of them and for finding a cure, I am participating in 'SPIN 4 a Cure for Crohn's and Colitis.' This event will be taking place on December 8th, and my goal is to raise as much money as possible. I will be riding with 'Team Ziggiez,' led by one of my co-workers who has Ulcerative Colitis. Besides your donation meaning a lot to me personally, it would go a long way towards finding a cure and helping other people get access to top notch care and treatment that I am so lucky to have.
The more money we raise, the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases every day.

About Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) and affect an estimated 3 million Americans. Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine. There are no cures for these often painful and debilitating diseases.
The Mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
