Welcome to team YP Spins 4 Cures!
Our team will participate in this exciting event and raise funds to support the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. To start off, here are some blurbs from our team members (return riders and new) on why we are excited to be a part of this event!
Chad Santin~ "My relation to the foundation is I’ve had IBD for 8 years. Since diagnosis, I have been motivated to get involved and help raise awareness and work towards cures. Spin4 has been a great experience for me as the IBD community comes together in a fun environment to raise awareness and fundraise for future advancements and a cure."
Shannon Weber~ "I'm excited to spin4cures for the first time this year! In support of my sister and close friends that have Chron's, I hope to contribute to the mission of finding a cure and improving the lives of those with the disease."
Rael Linder~ "I'm spinning in honor of my dad and brother, who are both crohn's patients. I've seen their flares up close, and I'm passionate we find cures in our lifetime. I'll keep spinning for cures since the event brings awareness, fosters friendships, and helps us brainstorm new ways to support ourselves and our community."
Almost 1 in 100 Americans live with IBD, yet there are no cures. That’s why we are participating in spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures!
It is estimated that over 3 million people in the U.S. have Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. While many suffer in silence, spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures brings the community together in a fun, energetic, and supportive atmosphere.
Your donation will help support local patient programs, as well as important research projects. Please join our team or donate to our efforts to support the Foundation.

About Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) and affect an estimated 3 million Americans. Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine. There are no cures for these often painful and debilitating diseases.
The Mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
