This year in Boston again. Last year, Rachel was the Boston honored hero. It was a great event, and unfortunately for her, she went out of remission and had a chronically misearble fall. She is on a new drug and we are thankful that there are options, but there needs to be more and better therapy choices and ultimatley one hopes for a cure. We again look forward to the energy the event brings to those that suffer from Crohn's and ulcerative colitis. It's a disease that is still underfunded. Science is amazing and if we can make vaccines for deadly diseases like COVID, I hope we can solve these diseases as well. Thanks for eveyone's support.

About Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) and affect millions of Americans. Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine. There are no cures for these often painful and debilitating diseases.
The Mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
