Hi everyone! I am excited to re- join the organizing committee for the event this year! I have been fundraising for the foundation since my diagnosis at a young age, and continue to advocate for patients and scientific endeavors for this cause. As many of you know this has been a rough year for me and UC. Without the support of this organization, my new therapeutic may not have been available (and wasn't when I was a child). I am grateful for this community and the strength it has brought me this year.
My family appreciates any donations and please contact me if you are interested in joining us for the spin event in Boston on September 18, we have open biking slots!
This year I am participating in spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures, an exciting and inspirational fundraising event that supports the mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation which is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases. To learn more about our local spin4 crohn's & colitis cures event, click the "city event page" in green.
I will participate in honor of the millions of Americans affected by these debilitating digestive diseases. While many suffer in silence, spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures will bring the community together across the country in a fun, inspiring way.
Your donation will help support local patient programs, as well as important research projects. This cause is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight for cures!
The more money we raise, the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases every day.
I spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures!
About Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) and affect millions of Americans. Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine. There are no cures for these often painful and debilitating diseases.
The Mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
