I have been a Crohn's disease patient for 11 years, and there is currently no cure for this disease. While I've had my fair share of struggles, I'm happy to say I have achieved remission again for the first time in 6 years. This wouldn't have been possible without my dedicated team of providers. Unfortunately, not all patients have access to the resources and care that they need, which is why fundraising and advocating for others is so important to me. I have taken every opportunity to be an active participant in CCFA fundraisers with the hope of finding a cure. This year I am participating in spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures, an exciting and inspirational fundraising event that supports the mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation which is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
The more money we raise, the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases every day. Our team goal is to raise $1,000 by September 18th.
Please share my personal fundraising page or donate if you are able to. Your donation will help support local patient programs, as well as important research projects. This cause is very important to me and I appreciate your help as we fight for cures.
