This year, I am organizing a special (outdoor!) SoulCyle ride on October 25 to support the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of New England, whose mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
I will participate in honor of the millions of Americans affected by these debilitating digestive diseases. Your donation will help support local patient programs, as well as important research projects. This cause is very important to my family, and I appreciate your help as we fight for cures! The more money we raise, the closer we will be to making life more manageable for patients who live with these diseases every day.
About Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are collectively known as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) and affect millions of Americans. Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine. There are no cures for these often painful and debilitating diseases. The Mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
