Dear Family & Friends,
Thanks for visiting this fundraising page!
Jon and I are participating in spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures on October 27, 2019 to benefit the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. This is our 3rd year in a row spinning4cures in Seattle!
As many of you know, I’ve been living with ulcerative colitis since high school years so this organization is very important to me. I’m very fortunate that I can maintain my UC with regular screenings and medications, but others with crohn’s and colitis aren’t so lucky. Many people live day to day with intense pain and the threat of long-term hospital stays and multiple surgeries.
This is why we are committed to raising $2,500 as a team to support the 1.6 million Americans affected by these digestive diseases. More than 80 cents of every dollar raised goes towards breakthrough research, public and professional education, and patient support services in communities across the nation!
While many suffer in silence, spin4 crohn’s & colitis cures brings the community together in a fun, energetic and supportive atmosphere. Your donation will help support local patient programs, as well as important research projects. Please join our team or donate to our efforts to support the Foundation.
We spin4 cures!

About Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis
Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are both major categories of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). IBD affects an estimated 1.6 million Americans. These chronic diseases tend to run in families and they affect males and females equally. Crohn’s disease is a chronic inflammatory condition of the gastrointestinal tract and may affect any part from the mouth to the anus. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic inflammatory condition limited to the colon, otherwise known as the large intestine.
The Mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is: To cure and prevent Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis through research, and to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases through education and support.
