We can’t wait to see you this Sunday, June 6th - rain or shine - at the Long Island Take Steps Road Rally! All the below information is important for you to know, so please read carefully and reach out to us with any questions.
Event Day looks a little different this year! The health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff are our top priorities and have been top of mind while planning this event. The day will still be packed full of fun and ways to engage. Here are a few things to know:
Schedule: The event will open at noon and participants can arrive anytime between 12 – 2 pm. Our program will be on a loop on 89.7 FM on your car radio so that you will be able to hear the program no matter what time you arrive.

Pacesetter/Earned a T-shirt: Your fundraising incentives, including a Pacesetter t-shirt for individually raising $100 or more, will be mailed to you.
Sponsor Row: Upon checking in you will pass Sponsor Row on your way to Car Decorating. Our sponsors will have the opportunity to showcase their vehicle. A highlight will be to see StarBar's Mobile Bar, STARBAR is a unique mobile bar rental & bartending service company operating around Long Island and perfect for your next home party.

Car Decorating Contest: Don't miss out! Decorate your car at home or onsite, take a photo and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org by Tuesday, June 8th. Our Event Day Experience Council will be voting on the Top 3 and winners will be announced in our post walk email on June 23rd.
1st Place Prize: $100 Best Buy Gift Card
2nd Place Prize: Applebees Gift Certificate – Voucher for: Lunch or Dinner for two (value is $75)
3rd Place Prize: $25 Tanger Outlets Gift Card
Last Car: enters the track at 2 pm
Event Ends: 3 pm
Share Your Photos & Videos: Don't forget to share your photos and videos with us by tagging us on social media and emailing us at email@example.com . Please note that, by emailing us your photos and videos you are giving us permission to share and use your photos/videos.
We are strongly encouraging everyone wear a mask though it is not required; We will have masks on hand if you should need one. Following CDC guidelines, we request that you plan to maintain 6 feet of distance between yourself and anyone not in your household, when exiting your car at the following locations: Car Decorating Station, Restrooms, Food Truck Stops
